This document covers policies like leave (annual, carers, parental, jury service, etc) superannuation, termination, performance, social media, internet usage, non solicitation, intellectual property, mobile phone usage, etc. It is important that you get the rules of the office very clear at the outset, so that everyone knows what they can and can't do. If you have been in business for a while, you are most likely suffering from some of these issues. This is a good document to get them to read and sign the policy acknowledgement. Acknowledging that they have read and understand these policies. So that any infringements in the future can be handled with disciplinary action. Repeated infringements can lead to termination.
